So I read on a forum that a guy who had a standard 2.0 FSI model took the top plastic housing surrounding the air filter and it actually improved performance (obviously not that noticeable) and gave a better engine sound.
I guess it makes sense that without the housing on top more air can get through as it's not closed off, but I don't know a whole lot about these things so I could be wrong.
Was just wondering if anyone on here has done this or heard of this actually working?
Going to try it out tomorrow and see what happens haha
