ID brake pads for 2.0 FSI?

    All,

I'm having trouble identifying the correct brake pads to put on my Golf 2.0 FSI from 2008. The car manual and Haynes guide has nothing specific (that I can see), and inputting the VIN on a couple of websites brings up "unknown" in response.

On the Bendix website I get DB1405 and DB1849 for the front pads, and DB1449 and DB1869 for the rear. See here. Obviously it's one or the other but which set? The brake callipers have VWAG TRW stamped on them if that helps.

Otherwise any recommendations for quality pads without being too expensive? It’s an A to B car but I still enjoy driving and like things to work properly and well!

    Cheers!
