Head unit options for MY07 Jetta

My 2007 Jetta has the standard RCD 300 head unit with single CD player.

What are my options for upgrading? Options like inbuilt GPS, DVD, reversing camera capability aren't essential for me but I'd like to know what the relative prices are to upgrade from my current head unit because if affordable the GPS would be useful.

My car already has an after market Parrot CK3000 hands free kit which works and I would like to keep if possible.

    Thanks in advance

Upgrading in a pre 2008 you will need a new canbus unit and coding or you will have flat battery issues...about $100 bucks...then either a RCD 510 which is touch screen. 6 disc. Sd card and can get them for about $250.... or if you want satnav you want a RNS510 which instead of 6 disc has 1 disc but a hard drive to download music. If your lucky you might get one for $800 or about $1000. Also you will need a aerial adapter about $20.....VDUB...

Your Parrot BT could still work with your new unit. I can also update the software in your current canbus, so you don't have to replace and code it. More info in my signature.

    Other options are:
the DNS series (see info in related thread)

    Or Android-based systems like this

As well as Pioneer Avic or Eonon.
    Whatever floats your boat
