I'm swapping my leather drivers seat from my '05 Mk5 for a slightly newer one from another Mk5, although I'm not sure what year.
I had the old seat out and the newer one resting in position while I connected up the wiring.
It seems the yellow connector is slightly smaller so I can't connect that one at all and the wires are different colours.
Then on closer inspection, the larger black connector has a different configuration to the original, with only four wires instead of six.
Any thoughts or suggestions on why this might be so?
My suspicion is after the first incarnation of the Mk5 they slightly modified the connectors.
