    Glitchy MFD?

The display on the half height MFD in my recently acquired Jetta goes glitchy at times. Everything works fine just the display looks messed up now and then.

Is there a fix for this?

    Three options.
Get a new cluster or good second hand and get it programmed to your car or
buy a good seconds hand one on the cheap and swap screens.
I have done the second for my Jetta which got dull over 28 deg.

They can be repaired with better quality screens.

There's a few places around that you can post the cluster to, and they'll do it in short turnaround.

Is it possible to replace the Jetta cluster with one from a GTI/R32?
