    Failed pistons will still show around the 70psi mark as others have mentioned.

    I've been trawling online for replacement engines (worst case scenario) but someone did mention taking it to VW. I've reached out to them also to see what they'll do.
    If you want VW to fix it, they will have to take over diagnosis of it.

    boogz do you have any update on your issue?

    I am getting P0304 cylinder 4 misfires too. I tried to swap ignition coils, spark plugs, fuel injectors but error stays on cylinder 4. I don't think it's map or o2 sensors as the problem is constantly on cylinder 4 only. Now I am waiting for Cylinder Compression Tester Test Kit from eBay and for endoscopy camera to investigate the head. Any ideas what else should I look at?
