Contact dba directly and provide your VIN they should provide the correct parts for your specific vehicle
Sparesbox are having a sale on brake upgrade parts, so I thought I'd look at replacing my rear rotors of my GT Sport 1.4 TSI (125). RDA 7911 at 258mm and RDA 7912 at 286mm both list as compatible with my vehicle. DBA list several different sized rotors from 252mm to 286mm as fitting.
It's a lot of effort to take the rotors off just to measure them. Can anyone please shed some light on which are the correct parts/sizes?

Take the wheel off and measure.

MK4 GTI - Sold
MK5 Jetta Turbo - Sold
MK5 Jetta 2.Slow - Until it dies.
Just take the wheel off. You don't have to remove the rotor. If you don't feel confident with a tape measure and calibrated eyeball you can make a go/nogo gauge out of cardboard or measure the circumference of the rotor and divide by 3.142 to get the diameter

I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums
I would also compare the price against the BrakesDirect pricing

I ended up taking a punt based on the option codes on my chassis plate. The DBA site shows compatable codes for the rotors, EG 1KD, 1KQ. My plate shows 1KD (rears) and 1LJ (fronts). I ordered from Automotive Superstore ($3 cheaper than Brakes Direct)
The part is DBA 2811E at 253mm for rears and DBA 2806E 312mm for the fronts.
I'll let you know if they fit![]()
