Coolant Leak in MK5 Golf

So the other night I got the "STOP! Check Coolant Level" warning on my display.
The coolant was low so I topped it up not knowing there was a leak until I found a pool of coolant in my driveway.
I have had a look for the leak and I think I have spotted it on the right (passenger side) of the engine. I can see a little pool of pink coolant just below one of two hoses. I'm assuming that is where the leak is coming from as the hose on the bottom is very damp. Hoping it's that anyway. Getting it checked out tomorrow morning and hoping it's nothing to serious!

Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this or similar issues?

On the engine itself?

Usually the main outlet flange on the gearbox end of the cylinder head.

Also done a few radiators on these where cars have bottomed-out on driveways and split the seal where the end tank is bonded to the radiator core.

Not sure if you can see in the photo, zoom in on those two hoses, underneath them..
Not to good with engines so don't really know much haha.. I'm hoping its not the radiator though, heard they can be expensive to replace.

Yeah, definitely could be the outlet flange.

Not too dear, but they're a bit tricky to do.

Turns out it was the thermostat housing, qouted $60 for the part + labour cost
