Unfortunately no luck still. Followed the link I posted earlier and also found a more in depth manual which the instructions were the same and no go. I am thinking it isn't activating the ERMS system and thus not letting me disable the anti theft. I can't change tunes or anything like that either but I guess you need to disable anti theft before it will let you select tunes again.

Going to e-mail apr themselves and also call an apr dealer here in WA tomorrow. Unfortunately the place I got the tune done doesn't exist anymore but its just gone past the year warranty anyway.

Also if the ecu needs warranty replacing by the dealer, the apr dealer with wipe the tune. Good luck mate hope it all goes well

Spoke to APR just now, they are saying documentation on their website is for a MK6 and for my car which is MK5 I need to be going to the off position when inputting my code, not to cancel. I did try that once but will try again tonight, maybe it just didn't quite register properly when I did it. Fingers crossed.

For whatever reason I didn't get given a manual when I got the tune, only my code and what each tune slot is on the invoice.

Have cruise in on position with key in and accessories off, then turn on accessories then; code =123 sequence below

    set(down)X1 then cruise off/on

    Set(down)x 2 then cruise off/on

    Set(down)x3 then cruise off/on

Give me a call if you have trouble and you are with the car now

All fixed now. Having the right information helped lol. Thanks heaps. Might ring APR again tomorrow and ask them to send/email me a MK5 specific guide for the controls.
