    I have an aftermarket HU (Sony WX-920BT) and the clock keeps resetting when turned off. Does this mean I have a canbus adaptor fitted, so it is cutting power to the unit? I have not noticed any battery drain.

    Did you only get the Canbus adapter?

    You will need a new Gateway and have to program it via VCDS
