, it wasn't till I rang them yesterday that they said.... oh, compliancing, maybe a couple of days....

They drill two holes and put the plate on.
Takes ten minutes and is done by VW Australia.

Congrats Rowan, when I rang to "have a quiet word" with Austral yesterday, they mentioned they were delivering a silver one today, I knew whose it would be.

When I get the beast next week we'll have to catch up and maybe get a photo of TWO Silver arrows

Got a phone call today, mine has finally got to australian shores and it'll be 14-20 working days, so about 3 weeks before I can drive away. Was told they change a few things for ADR. Child seat restraints and stuff like that Don't really care as long as I get the car that I ordered

You'd be wasting you time. I rang Patrick Autocare last year, soon after my car was off-loaded. They were very polite, but pointed out that their policy, under instruction from Volkswagen Australia, was not to give out any information on cars to any-one other than the dealer.

According to the dealer - they won't even give the information out to them, except to update the due for shipment status on the computer. Of course that _could_ just be BS
