    60k service 2007 fsi auto

Quoted $1200-$1300 for the 60k (car has done 44k) from my local VW dealer, it's not DSG, just a 2.0 fsi automatic, is this right?
I don't really want my regular, cheaper mech to do it as he took a while to sort out some problems with my wife's Bora and I'm going to be towing a boat with this car so want the service, especially transmission etc. done properly.

Auto box still needs to be serviced, and from memory it's dearer to do than a DSG through the dealership.

Just be weary that your car is due for a timing belt replacement based on time.

Damn! Wish you dropped me one! Anyway they did a good job, the cars driving and looking like it's brand new and towed a 4.5m boat across town today without a hiccup.
