    Question 06 tdi 6 Speed Transmission Input Shaft Bearing

    hi I'm having a problem with my transmission,
    This input shaft bearing behind the front passenger wheel, has pretty much exploded and needs replacing.

    I'm wondering if I buy a kit like this:

    If I can do the job without removing the engine and transmission?
    Also since this bearing has gone, does it indicate I will need to check/change other bearings as well?
