[QUOTE=I've got some spare P-Plates in the boot, if you'd like... That being said, red ones would probably suit better. [/QUOTE]

2018 Ralyee Green RS wagon. Fully optioned.
Previous vehicles:2015 Volvo V60 Polestar (my one detour from VW/Skoda!)
2013 Platin grey RS wagon / 2012 White Polo GTI / 2009 Black 125 Tiguan
I have a similar dog bone insert to firm up the motor - keen to see what it does if it causes intrusive cabin noise
Don't have sticky tires
I'm running 8" wide (compared to 7.5" stock)
Not loosing traction via controlled use of the gas peddle is what I'm doing to avoid the problem
2012.1 Skoda Octavia VRS DSG Wagon - Carbonio cold air intake and pipe - HPA Motorsports BBK 355mm rotors 6 pot calipers
APR Stage II ECU - APR 3" exhaust down pipe & high flow catalyst
APR/HP Roll bars - Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks
Supaloy lower control arms - Enkei 18*8 Wheels
whiteline have a similar void filler for the dogbone bush.
it works well, but at low rpm I can feel the motor more, and in reverse its worse.
that said, its manageable, and you just get used to it.

These mounts are for the connection between the transmission and subframe so doubt they do much for axle tramp.
Sticky tyres may not solve the problem.
Higher spring rates is usually the solution. For FWD more caster/anti-lift helps too.
And turn the TC off and use your right foot.
Also the so called launch control only works in S and manual with the TC off, not D.
