Wheel spin followed by a bang?

So, when it all goes wrong and you get some wheel spin,
it's often followed by a bang which I had assumed was wheel bounce
but I'm now concerned that it's the DSG clutch!
Do any of you experience this and what do you think it is?

I get that too if ir loses traction then bites in...

I just thought it was the suspension bump stops etc... after if bounces a bit scrambling for traction?

First time I experienced it in this car was under (attempted) medium-hard acceleration from a stand-still on a recently drizzled-on road. I thought something had got caught up in the wheels and was being dragged around and around...

    1) Pick your place better (road surface quality)
    2) Semi slicks
    3) Reduced throttle

(Geoff Brabham says there are two organs that men have little or no control over, one is the right foot...)
