That looks good mate.
Cheers for the inside lights, I thought that was the case, but thats the first time Ive driven it at night, so wasnt to sure if standard or a vcds mess up.
Cheers

It can also take a couple of goes picking up the signal before it kicks in but if it's not ticking in VCDS then there's a coding issue or the like.
Your the first on here with a 169 so maybe there's some changes to the latetest software? You wouldn't think it would be much different but who knows with skoda.

RE VCDS Traffic:
We did the coding in the Garage, so maybe it needs to be outside.
didnt spend too much time on it, we both had places we needed to be.
Ill make a copy of the above info, and see for next time we have a go.
Also, Prob better to ask in the golf PP part, but can you change diff settings via the VCDS? Harder/softer?
it isn't the TMC not working, it's the controller not accepting the new value saying it was 'out of range'
It is like the old days when people were trying to change the power steering weight in a mkV Golf to the same value as the GTI - same controller part number, but it just won't take the adaptation (request out of range)
So maybe on these new ones it needs a different value, or the particular channel is now locked, we're confident someone will figure it out!
Edit: we also checked my car which is a few months older and mine took 1024 and TMC is working in it - so it would seem this is the step that is holding us up

What Lams Said
Both the obdeleven forum and briskoda are saying use 20103. The link below has all the latest coding tricks. You may need to create a log in to view.
