Spinifex,
Well done mate, Looks like Ill be come to yours with some beers once I get my car...

Enabled HBA
Enabled tailgate close from keyfob and internal button
Enabled live traffic
All with OBDeleven dongle
Note: for anyone else wanting to enable HBA using this method, the various VCDS instructions are a bit vague when it comes to coding the byte 02.
You need to leave any bits ticked that are already selected, but ensure bits 0 & 1 are definitely ticked.
I deselected the othe bits that were already ticked and ONLY ticked bits 0 & 1.... and this worked for enabling HBA..... but by deselecting the other bits, I disabled the park assistant and rear camera!

Spinifex,
Done, can even drive it after the run in period if you want. Be interesting to 'feel' the difference.
Let me know what else you get turned on...

Ok - did a drive up mount cootha tonight to test the HBA. Was massively disappointed to find it didn't work
The little auto-high beam symbol was indicated in the maxidot so I assumed I'd forgotten to set one of the controllers correctly.
Only worked it out when I got home and dug a little deeper into the further settings others have recommended - the trigger speeds for the HBA to work.
By default, once it's activated, it's set to actually trigger on at 57kph. Mount cootha has a speed limit of 50, and I had the cruise set on 53! No wonder it didn't bloody work!
So in with the dongle again, out with the pad and reset the trigger speed to 20kph and deactivation speed to 10kph as some others have suggested.
So I'll have another drive tomorrow night (CBF now) and see if it ACTUALLY works!

Nice one! I still need to get around to seeing what I can turn on and code my LED License Plate lights.
Update regarding IS38 Swap, STILL WAITING!!! its been a nightmare between my mechanic/tuner being sick, and trying to lock down dyno time. I'm starting to doubt this will be done this side of Xmas!! which is extremely frustrasting.
We want to dyno the car in its current form with current tune, then load stage 2 software of my new tuner and do a comparison run then do the IS38 swap and dyno again.

Evening Spinifex,
Can I ask if you could activate my reverse mirror tilt function, please? We were use to this with our golf but is not active on our Skoda.
Happy to offer a ride but 110kW diesel will be a come-down to your RS.
Also keen to hear how I can up-date the ROW maps. Information on this is patchy.
regards
Rob

Unless you have power seats the mirror dip is not worth the effort. It is inconsistent and doesn't always return. I enabled it and then turned it off.

+1
The mirror dipping requires the Seat Memory function to remember where to dip (and return) the mirror to.
Theoretically, anything is possible to retrofit, but it then becomes a story of effort+cost=outcome. I've been dipping my own mirrors for 5yrs, seems to work so far.
Would I enable it if I could? Hell yeah!
