Put a new indicator switch ($31.39 eBay from China) in to fix the dead cruise control. Lucky I'd previously replaced the steering column and knew the tricks to getting the bits behind the steering wheel off. I almost always left the little cruise control switch on top switched on - maybe that was not a good idea, but I would have thought moving it off and on would wear it out quicker.
Finally got around to installing my front Koni FSD struts and the front H&R anti roll bar to go with the rear ones - and a set of alloy SuperPro lower control arms with bushes, and a Superpro torque arm insert (stiffens up the lower rear engine mount). Still have the standard springs - I'm not interested in lowering it.
Blimey what a difference! Bit hard to tell what did it, but the alloy control arms are 2.3 kg verses 3.95 kg for the steel ones, so less unsprung weight combined with the excellent FSD struts/shocks. The ride is much more comfy. Worth the $930 for the FSD's. Now it rides/handles as good as it goes.
