Full throttle in 5th or 6th on a tuned car is a sure way to cause clutch slip, or so I've read.
2012 Octavia vRS TDI. Darkside big turbo, 3bar tune, other stuff. 200kW/650Nm.
1990 Mk1 Cabrio. 1.9 IDI w/ 18PSI.
1985 Mazda T3500 adventuremobile. 1973 Superbug. 1972 Volvo 144 in poo-brown.
Not including hers...
I believe you hitting full boost in 4th 5th and 6th as well so yeah makes sense as its only when hitting full boost do I get the turbo flutter on acceleration.
The thing I like tuned is you can be cruising on the motorway, want to overtake in 6th you simply put your foot down and off you go, no need to downshift. Now with the way its setup IS38 (22psi) is pushed hard and I think the file is too aggressive for everyday driving. The way it behaves and shifting required is that it appears to be setup for drag/ track racing which wouldnt be a problem if it was switchable like APR, aggressive map for track days and tamer version for daily duties.
Anyway new map is available, just need to make some time to get it flashed so will see how that goes.

We are talking about the same insert here aren't we?
Like this one:
SuperPro Torque Arm Lower Bushing Insert- Street - SPF3365-80K
If yours is solid metal I would have expected serious NVH?
Edit:
Ahhhh I see this one for the Golf Mk7 now.

I assume the Occy Mk 3 is similar. Not actually an insert....rather just stops the slop/movement of the factory bushing, hence I now understand why it doesn't transmit NVH.

Spot on Mate its not a replacement just an insert and yes the mk7 GTI/ MQB one works on ours. In fact I'd say most MQB or mk7 GTI kit works on our cars.
This is the one I have installed

Did more investigating and logging with E-tuners so it turns out that its not turbo flutter or compressor surge that I'm experiencing on WOT its actually Wastegate flutter! the clicking like a sewing machine I'm hearing is the wastegate working hardIt's normal apparently when you tune your car also the fact that I've got an aftermarket intake and muffler delete and have removed most of the restrictive parts there's less muffling of the sound happening, hence the reason its so distinctive now.

Today I...
picked up car with PPF installed. Glad I did it.
Installed a cheap TPMS
and Did a couple of VCDS mods with a fellow VWWC member.
All in all a great day. All info below in the link.
Questions...
VCDS: We couldn't get Traffic info working, as the value '1024' wound not work.
Any ideas people? Out of range I think it said
Also, Just been driving at night, and the 2 small lights in the roof were on, is that normal or did we miss up something in the VCDS?
