Yes venom, those lights are the same. Huge thread on briskoda on how to do it (and the vcds coding to switch them on)
Edit: Phil is certainly very good at customer service. I'm happy to buy Australian if they provide service at that level.

Got the Lakin setup also. I now find I pay more attention to number plate mounting and for the vast majority the way people have them mounted is abysmal. Either not aligned, screws drilled through in illogical places or ugly dealer freebie brackets. Worst thing is when someone has gone to the expense of custom or euro plates and then still screws up the mounting. Why?
Did you go the no screws setup? I dont want covers over the plates, and I didnt want screws. Chose Satin black powdercoat as I feel it will aged better than gloss black.
I'm down to
Tinting $300
Dashcams $300
Sound Deadening $200
Vinyl wrap roof ?? (cost price for me - B.I.L. is a signwriter!)
And that's it! Every single mod I want on the car done. Well, technically down the track i'll buy a VCDS cable too, but that's not really a mod is it?
Opted for the security screws and satin black. See pic. It uses 2 screws and some tape.

Wow that looks swish. I gather mine will look the same, minus the screw holes. Phil seemed confident that the plate is extremely secure with the command strips alone.
Also nope didn't do the adjustable mod although that's a pretty damn good idea!

Forged? That's unusual for an OEM rim. What do they weigh?
Are they ET39 offset? Not too much poke at the front?
I think you need to post photos
Do it! The steel drills like butter. If I was doing it again I'd come back 25mm & cut off the excess material level with the inner edge of the OEM hole & round the corners off.
Woohoo! All the Superskoda stuff turned up today. All in factory packaging! Pretty impressed with how fast the delivery was - costly (Circa $180 AUD for delivery) but considering the size of the package (it's roughly 1.2m long, 0.3m wide and 0.2m tall) and the speed of delivery - 10 days - not working days, actual days - i'm pretty impressed!
The gear looks pretty swish.
I feel like a hostage negotiator.....i'm getting parts at a time, rather than the whole thing
Fitted a Forge catch can and a set of spark plugs.
Trying Denso Iridium this time. Gap out of the box was 30thou. The ones that came out were 26thou. I couldn't be bothered looking up the right setting so 30 thou will do.
As is normal for all my cars, the old spark plugs looked like new. They had 55,000km on them but as I had the engine cover off & the coil rail disconnected I figured now was a good time to do the job.
