Had TMC activated, also activated the lap timer function within the dash console - its a bit of fun!
Tried to do 2 things with my Obdeleven - mirror dip (not working) and auto lock (car auto locks only when key NOT in car) also not working. Car locks even with key in car... Reported to OBD eleven people. Not really happy with wasting credits on changes that don't work or are faulty.

New tyres - replaced bridgestones s001 (15,000km,still in good condition,225/40/1 with Goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric 3's. Difference - better grip, softer do not feel pain in my back when going over large bumps on the highway anymore. Quieter by 3db on average, measured both sets of tyres on same day, same roads, same load using dedicate spl meter. The car was already comfortable (multi-link rear suspension) apart from train lines and the odd bridge span not exactly level with the rest of the road. The new tyres made a noticeable difference from the first bump we encountered. Also pleased that a Skoda dealership is set to open in Ballarat soon, next to Ballarat Audi/Holden

Got a nice nail too close to the curve of the tyre, so my brand new S001 with 1500km is already getting replaced. Really wishing I had been able to get one of those new wheels/tyres from the guy in Perth now. Big difference in prices for the OEMs as well, $360 next door at the Beaurepaires vs $230 at the Tyrepower up the road a little further.
Sharpmarble does your Elegance come with a real spare tyre? I thought the Elegances did and it was just the RS they started putting the skinny one in but you seem to have the same wheel size as on the RS. I didn't get the tyre place to stick it in the boot but left it there so they can replace it and save some time when I put it back on Monday.
The Potenza's did loose a bit of grip when accelerating 0-100km flat out (rare event generally never accelerate fast enough to even feel traction control kicking in), the brand new goodyear's behaved flawlessly when accelerating from 0-100 no loss of grip (dry conditions, first day of use & later measured at 4 psi above the recommended pressure).

No unfortunately it did not, I did ask to get one, the dealer quoted $1000 for a full size tyre(matching alloy) and that it would push up the floor up by 15 mm or so. That space could easily have been taken up by extra soundproofing (which I got anyway). In the end they dealer forgot add the full size wheel to the order until it was too late...
