It shouldn't affect the wheel bearings unless you go quite thick (more than 10mm) as there are other factory wheels which move the centreline of the wheel further outwards.

Skoda won't see it this way so they will void your warranty on any of the parts in that area (not just the bearings).

You are better off either going to a 235/40r18 tyre or buying a set of lightweight rims in the offset you want.

I have run spacers on other cars. I didn't have any issues. There are plenty of cars out there that run spacers without issue. Ideally if you could attach the spacer to the wheel and there wasn't a hub step nobody would ever know.
Thanks for the info on that.. I think you're right.. it would be far easier for me to look for some aftermarket rims with the offset I want. Anyway I'm in no hurry.. I'm enjoying the car immensely as it is.. lol

I finally got around to fitting the Audi S3 seats i bought several months back.

The airbag connectors needed to be swapped over as the Audi & Skoda are slightly different. The colour coding of the wires is the same & it appears the expected resistance is the same as there is no airbag fault.

I still have to run power to the electric lumbar support but that's no big deal.

Blends in reasonably well with the rears. Much better bolstering.

The base looks identical in shape and cutout to the MkII RS seats, the top a bit as well, but the Audis are squarer at the top.

They probably are identical to the vRS but I have an Elegance. The old seats were perfectly adequate but these leather seats were part of a bundle of parts i bought. I felt obliged to fit them.

    nope, they weren't for sale.

I could have got a full Scirroco interior very cheap but freight doubled the price.

The car is worth SFA and I doubt I'll be selling it any time soon so I can afford to make it look like an abortion.

Can anyone please help me with some info. I'm looking at putting coilovers in my VRS MKIII Wagon. Has anyone done this? Also is it difficult to pull out and put back in some of the interior/boot to get to the rear strut tops?

Probably should've put this post in a different thread, apologies. But i don't know how to delete it, damn tapatalk lol.

Activated traffic, reverse mirror dip, recirculating air memory, boot closing on fob and switch and lap timer. Now for a wash and some 19s
