What did you do to your Octavia today?

The bike are fantastic, ultra reliable. The people I know with the cars find them the same way. Kizashi is supposed to be a decent mid sized car

I sail with someone who owns a Kizashi Sport AWD (or whatever the name is). 130,000km in 3 years, and the only thing apart from normal maintenance has been a new battery.

I don't mind them, but their boot space and access is rubbish.

Got my hand on a VCDS cable and disabled the soundaktor. Will be interesting to see what the car sounds like now.

The mate has a new s3 and there was talk of going halves in a vcds cable. I want to code additional brake lights and a few other things.

Wha it the soundaktor? Is that the fake exhaust sound that also seems to distort the AM radio reception ?

Yep. You can either unplug it or disable it through vcds. Sits just behind the base of the windscreen wipers i think.

I removed the rear LED turn indicator globes. Wife had to follow me the other day and in broad daylight, they just arent visible enough. Back to incandescent for the turn lights.

I think to have ones that worked properly, you'd need to remove the rear light assembly and insert individual globes all facing outwards, with a few pointing to the side so side on traffic could see them.
