Also got my rear guards guard. But they sent me the wrong one (Sherwood Automotive in the US). So after waiting 2 months, I get the wrong one!

20% - have had it on last Skoda and in qld at least, I find it much better than 35%. This particular tint has a very high metal content for ir (heat) so in direct sunlight looks a little reflective, the other 20% I had wasn't like that. But it's only on certain angles you notice it. Against the white it looks pretty dark, but I have the blind over the sun roof, so it will look lighter most of the time as we have the blind open.

Edit: it looks darker in pics than irl though!


EDIT2: Looks like they sent me a VRS rear guard, which is different to a normal combi one.......

Anyone in brisbane want to buy a VRS rear guard?

Won't the metal content interfere with remotes or KESSY?

Also, my rearguard is in the country probably get it early Jan. I won't be surprised if you got mine and I'll get yours. Did you get one for a VRS combi?

Yes, I got one for a vrs! - it's just a plain black plastic one.

My ISOFIX car seats imported from Germany show as arrived in country today, so should get them monday!

Next week i'll work on the glovebox LED, and the ambient footwell lights. Will need someone with VCDS (might get a hold of alba euro - I know jimmy has one) to enable them for me!

EDIT: Had a mate come around to drop some stuff off for xmas.....he called it mafia tint. Maybe it IS a little dark on the outside - in bright sunlight it has a reflective quality about it. Hopefully dont attract too much attention - but it does look sensational!

Wow! Awesome, thanks for the offer! I will have to see how hard the footwell lights are to install. From the thread on Briskoda, it looks like a few hours work, but I figure I have to put the dashcam in there with a fuse tap at the same time, so might as well do it. I'll see how long it takes next week, and give you a tingle.


EDIT: And venom, metal content seems fine with KESSY so far. The two boot windows arent metal, due to the aerial being there.
