It looks great. Exactly the same as my last Octavia (minus the rims of course). I told the missus the second a rim gets rash, I'm buying the vmrs. She has had a few people say it would look awesome with black rims.... She is starting to agree..... Wear them down!

Wasn't exactly today but I had the tune tweaked on my 1.8TSI. 128kw at the wheels isn't a bad effort. My only other mod so far is a DV+ from GFB. The car pulls like a freight train and has only made me love my car even more!
What do the 3 lower lines represent?
have you a copy of the torque curve / figures?
I can recomend a bigger intercooler like a Golf R/S3 or bigger. I don't think it makes extra power but you lose the dougy feeling when stuck in traffic / hot days, etc. Stock IC is 32mm. Golf R/S3 is 38mm and has more bars, higher flow, etc
I really should dyno mine one day but I'd rather spend the money on a tank of 98 than 5 minutes on the rollers.

From the bottom left of the graph they are: Viezu "race" file, Viezu "track" file, stock, the final tweaked Viezu "track" file
As you can see I was not happy with the race file or track file as they were worse than the stock file in the bottom end. But Simon at Viezu did some computer wizardry and fixed that right up.
I completely forgot to get the torque read out, but according to VCDS peak torque is 320nM at 4480 RPM.
I am definitely on the hunt for a larger intercooler. The temps here in north queensland are certainly getting up there, mid 30's at the moment. This can't be good for the car. If anyone knows of an intercooler for sale please let me know
Not that I participate in street racing but it is so satisfying to line up next to a VF SV6 Ute and leave them for dead
Ah! that makes sense now. Initial power loss must have been dissapointing. Good they could fix it.
Even the stock 105kw ATW is repectable for an engine that's supposed to be 118kw at the flywheel.
How do you find out the torque from VCDS?
Forge Twintercooler at vwgolf.net (no idea if they are any good)
EOI: Forge Twintercooler MKV GTI
Golf R Intercooler - pay $150 tops
FS: 2013 Golf R Parts; Stock Suspension, Stock Intercooler, TTS Engine Cover
A few people have used these ones I think - more capacity than the Golf R version

Thanks for that brad. I will see if I can get the Golf R intercooler, if not I might try the eBay kit. The Forge Twintercooler has just sold
The torque is measuring block 120. I know it's not torque at the wheels but considering the 1.8tsi is 250nM stock it's a pretty good increase.
