Yes, the pads are easier to source compared to the rotors. I'll be installing Zimmerman cross drilled rotors and ATE ceramic pads this week. Will see how that combination goes!

No need to worry, the friction material from pads plates the discs, so as long as they don’t distort you’ll be fine..

One thing I will add about the Zimmerman cross-drilled discs is that they tend to be a bit noisey.

That's the combo i have on my golf got 10,000 klm on them so far and no noise at all
