I have no flat bits at all, they completely cut it away. And then went in and cut the solid big pieces as well. One isn't too bad, the other has half of it missing. The scratches on the glass are my biggest worry now.
Will be seeing the tinter at the dealer tomorrow. I'm curious whether anyone has had their tinter just peel back the rubber and then stick it over it once dry. Seems to me that would be the best way to approach it. They have obviously taken off the back boot panel when doing the rear window as I can see the slight marks where they pried the plastic cover off inside which would be more work than that little quarter window. Even if they just trimmed a little of the flat bit of rubber there would have been room to slide the edges in there and not have a gap.
