Exactly what we were diescussing at lunch time after I took the photo. When was the last time anybody heard of a standard set of wheels being stolen from any car?

    Hmmm.

Just been out and taken the tool tray and spare out of the car. There is definitely no wheel stud nut cap remover (the tweezer thing) or lock nut adapter in there. Of course I don't know whether I need a lock nut because I can't get the stud nut caps off to see whether there is a lock nut on each wheel.
An email to the dealer tonight followed up by a phone call in the morning I think.

P.S. What is the circular wire hook thing? You can see the tip of it in my photo sticking out beside the strap where the arrow is moulded into the polystyrene.

Wheel size!? Some European markets have the 17" version of the pre-FL RS wheels as standard and then having 18" as an option. I'd imagine Skoda Aus would keep them as standard, especially as they look so good! 17" should be standard on 103TDI/118TSI models IMO - looks better. If you look at NZ specs, they're specced well. Just the heated seats and Columbus aren't standard.

As for equipment levels for MY11, nothing has been officially confirmed by Skoda Aus.

The circular wire hook is for removing nut caps. And if you you have steel wheels you don't have lock nut (bolt) in your kit. If you have alloy wheels, remove nut caps and check if you need locking socket for removing that locking bolt. It could be unpleasant situation if you get puncture and need to put spare wheel on.

Are the MY11 RS back down to 17s? Or did I read that wrong...
Maybe via the multifunction display, like in our Touareg.

See therein lies the problem. I don't have the tweezer thing for removing the stud nut caps so I don't know whether I have lock nuts at all.
An appropriate please explain email has been sent to the dealer.

It's either to remove the covers to fit the tow hook (I'm not sure why that's in the back of my mind) or it's to remove the plastic covers off the wheel nuts - if the plastic cover has a hole in the middle then it is removed with the wire hook.

Button on the drivers' B-pillar trim under the seatbelt turns the interior monitoring off, but the other functions are still active.

Every tool in that kit and what is it for; is (should be) described in the owners manual. Unfortunately I don't have Skoda so I can't help you more.

    Been there already.

The vehicle tool kit and the lifting jack*, on which a note sticker is affixed, are stored
in a box in the spare wheel* ⇒ fig. 223. There is also space here for the removable
ball for the trailer towing device*. The box is attached with a strap on the spare
    wheel.
The vehicle tool kit contains the following parts (depending on equipment fitted):
    • Wire clamps for removing the full wheel trims,
    • Plastic clip for a wheel bolt cover,
    • Wheel wrench*,
    • Towing eye,
    • Adapter for the wheel bolts lock.*
    • Screwdriver* for removing the front fog lights20).
After using the lifting jack*, screw in the arm of the lifting jack fully before placing it
    back in its storage area.
