vehicle tool kit (for 2008 RS)?

Would it be possible for someone with an RS to list (or even better, photograph) the contents of their vehicle tool kit which sits inside the spare tyre?

Today was the first time I really looked at the tool kit and I didn't see the little plastic clip that you use to remove the wheel bolt caps. My car was a demo so I'm wondering if I'm missing anything else. There seem to be a worrying number of empty slots and spaces in the foam container. So I'd like to know exactly what's missing before I contact the dealer.

    Thanks.

They are all like that in Oz. The only things that you get are what are required to change the wheel (Wheel brace and jack). I don't even think mine has covers on the stud nuts anyway.

All Aus-spec cars have the one locking nut (even though they all appear differently) and the clip thing for mine hides and has always done so in the centre console JumboBox. Other than that I can't really help you sorry. I'll have a look tomorrow for you .

All cars pre 2010 build have locking wheel nuts... From January production this was deleted.

Here is my vRS wheel well exposed to sunlight for only the second time since I picked the car up.

Jack, wheel brace and tow hook only.

If my car (Dec 2009 reg) has locking stud nuts I have no idea where the key (as in keyed tool not door key) is.

Mine has all the above plus the plastic "tweezers" for the nut caps in the hole to the right of the hex on the whell brace & lock nut key to the right of that.

I have also added 2x "studs" to screw into the wheel hub & help guide the wheel on and a tubeless repair kit.

Are you kidding!? That's ridiculous! My 'tyre guy' gave me the impression that pretty much all Euro cars have that as a subtle feature as standard (like reach/rake steering adjustment and GlobalClose - windows operated from the key)! Well, that's annoying. Is it just Skoda Aus?

To be honest, hardly anyone gets their wheels stolen these days unless they are super $$$ ones. Back when cars came mostly with steel wheels it was more common, but these days locknuts are more pain than gain.

I'd be more upset about the silent loss of the heated seats and the interior alarm that happened with the update..the seats came back, but the alarm is still missing. Funny enough the car still costs the same. Won't really matter when the Columbus starts shipping with them, but it was a bit cheeky to drop the wheel size down as well.

Mine came with the alarm, but I'm not too sure whether it can be activated via VCDS or not like the cornering fog.. Even if it can be activated, I guess it wont have the tilt sensor, etc...

Are the MY11 RS back down to 17s? Or did I read that wrong...
