    Thanks for all the replies. Not sure if the sensor is faulty, but after I checked all the tyres and put an extra 1psi in the front the warning light went out and hasn't come back on since.

    I've got a compressor in the garage and was planning to check the tyres tomorrow with my own gauge. I'll put 36psi all round and reset the sensor.
    now: 2008 Octavia RS TSI manual sedan, yellow, Stage 1 tune, 185kw.
    before: MY11 RS TSI manual wagon, race blue, sunroof, tint, MDI

    Again I think that's strange. From memory the sensor light on the dash stays on until you manually reset it.

    Yes you must push and hold the button in until it resets.I cant believe the high pressures people are running, it must be wearing out the centres for sure. It would also take along time for the tyres to heat up and get sticky on a cold day.
