I think know those two areas - They'd be near Yosemite? I got the impression they'd been hit pretty hard by the GFC?

Anyway, hopefully they'll get it sorted.

Not wealthy areas, they moved there from New York for a job my brother in law slacked off in, and subsequently lost. So he worked as a security guard and is now a policeman. Not a lot of money, but he buys videogames, computers and 1k guns when they should be paying mortgages and fixing things. My sister married a child.....they are getting an aligment done, but both front tyres had those cracks but she hasn't been told why apart from no alignment killed those tyres.

How are people going with the PS3s? Still the best value option?

The Goodyear F1A2 seem to be selling at very low and irresistible prices
The PS3 is still a top choice, no question about it

Couldn't find these in 205/55/16... How do they compare to the PS3 and what sort of price?

I've been offered the PS3s for 160 a corner plus get a $100 fuel card... Hard to beat!

Let's be honest- a premium sports tyre from any top manufacturer is going to be good. Make a choice based on a perceived difference, brand preference or price and you'll be happy.
That's a great price on PS3s you should go for them.

Yeah, take that deal, dam good value and you will like the PS3
(Not surprised the Goodyear F1A2 are not available in that size)

Given the Goodyear eagles are an asymmetrical tyre does that mean tyre rotation options are limited?

You can still X-rotate them. You just can't turn them on the rim if you want to move a worn shoulder from outside to inside or viceversa.

    Asymmetrics are my preferred option.
