    Transporter's trip to the dealer

We had a nice 1/2 day today at the Solitaire Automotive, roadtesting a new Jetta 147TSI, Golf MK6 118 TSI and GTI, Octavia vRS TSI, all with the DSG ...and we also made an unscheduled stop at the Renault dealer that was less than 1/2km away where we took for the test drive Megane Privilege for the comparison. I have to admit that the looks of the Megane were more appealing to us than the looks of any Skoda or VW, but it all went away when we got inside of the Megane, the interior finish and quality is far from the VAG cars and we didn't have to drive to far to find out that the engine and the transmission were not match for the TSI engine and the DSG.

Apparently this is the only yellow vRS in AU.

Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to roadtest this little beauty and the terrific value for money only $88 per week or $25,500 drive away.

What does that work out as a final cost?

Looks like a nice car but not sure on the yellow.

I don't know what the final cost is if you take the $88/week, but the interest rate is 1/2 of what you get on your money if you leave them in the bank on +6% interest.

They have that red Fabia Montecarlo for immediate delivery (only one in the stock); the same for the yellow vRS which had nice leather seats not the suede.

there is another guy on this forum with a facelift yellow liftback -skoda147vrs i think.

when put that way......yes, that is a good chance to b very true!
many dealers stay clear from yellow as demo or floor stock cause they're very hard to sell.....unless someone like me turns up with yellow color already decided

Are you serious? $25500 driveaway for a brand new vRS? Is it with DSG? Is it a 2011 built? That's a steal!! Which dealer is it? I might get it even if its yellow, especially if you can get 2.8% finance now!

The $25500 is for Fabia Montecarlo.

The Golf GTI was cheaper than RS Octavia and the most fun to drive.
