    Touch up paints

I assume small brush on touch up paints are available from Skoda dealers? Anyone know the price?I tried an aftermarket and I was way off in the colour....

One small carpark scratch on the rear door.

Get one of those instant repair guys to mix you up a little bottle. They have all the correct paint codes and will match the colour perfectly.

Thanks everyone (I think!). I understood if you have the paint custom mixed, it has a short shelf life.

How long is it going to take you to touch up the scratch?

You never keep paint for long. The car's surface will fade slightly and the paint in the container will deteriorate. You will get a much better result making sure the colour is correct at the time of application rather than storing some for a long period just because you might need it one day in the future.

Sorry, I have always stored the touch up paints in the fridge for if and when...

Seems to have worked in the past. Dont want to buy a small bottle every time I might find a small scratch.!

Got the touch-up kit for the Scout from Bayford some time ago. Somewhere around $20? Same setup as for VW and Audi.

I've tried to get touchup paint from Jarvins (when they were still alive) and Penrith Skoda but there was none to be had. Both advised me to get some mixed up by a paint shop.

Anyway, I've just ordered THIS from fleabay and I'll see how it goes.
