Whoo Hooo!!!!!!!!! Amazing how things arrived so damn quick. Everything I ordered from Superskoda arrived safely and in one massive friggin box. Of course massive props to them for their usual careful packing (bitch to open up though since everything is double and triple bubble wrapped and sticky taped. LOL.
My KW V1's was sitting in the lounge waiting for me to caress and admire the big purple box. Now, question is, will pedder sth melb be able to install my coilies this weekend in time for dubstitute?
Looks like I'll be a busy boy tomorrow fitting the new facelifted tail lights, VRS grill badge, LED interior lights, gloss side pillar trims, eyelids and new shift knob cover (I scratched the last one during radio install). DOH!

Oh by the way, did I mention the guys at superskoda.com sent me a free Skoda Motorsport T-Shirt? for sending in my pics and the many orders (been spending too much money with them). LOL...

    Next:
Waiting for group buy to order my new 18's and tyres. Hmm maybe I should order the tyres now so they're sitting here waiting for me? Whatcha guys think of the following tyre choices?

    Nitto NT05
    Kumho KU36
    Falken 615's

    ???

Had I known you were ordering some stuff I would have chucked a rear door sill order with yours, now that the Skoda is my wife's car, my daughter has scratched the paint when a rock got stuck in her shoe. So weird they don't come with them already....

just on the aesthetic side of things, I dunno about the other 2, but the nittos and their high sidewalls certainly fill out ones wheel arches rather nicely!

Yah that was one of the first thing's I ordered. I too found it odd that the fronts had it but not the rear. Another form of cost cutting?

Thanks mate. It sure is like xmas again.

Didn't end up having time to install everything so just decided to change over the my current prefacelift tail lights to the new facelifted ones. Now from behind, you can't tell if mine is the pre-facelifted one.

Also put on the eyebrows to see how they would look. Just not sure if I should leave them black as is without painting or cover them up with carbon dinoc? I rekon they look fine as is IMO. BTH, front end doesn't look so dopey anymore. LOL.

I also managed to temporarily screw on the VRS grill badge but looks kinda misaligned at the moment. Will straighten it out when I finish the install of all other parts.

Apologies about the dirty car, the drive to and from Bendigo with road works means the car's dusty, filthy and has tar stuck on the paint.

Will try and install the rest of the goodies on Friday or Saturday.

    Hi Dave,

Was the replacement grill hard to install? Think that might be great edition to mine.

    Cheers

Not hard just time consuming and a pain cause the honeycomb grill's tabs isnt moulded exactly so there's a fair bit of trimming and adjusting to get the factory grill surround tabs to be inserted and clipped in. There's also a gap after installation of the grill between the top corners of the grill to the bonnet. Could be a bit of a hit and miss though. Looks fine from a distance though.
