Honeycomb grill insert should be arriving this week. Can't wait. I'll carbon di-noc the grill surround and install the new grill insert this week. Trying to find a Melbourne based company that does carbon dinoc car wrapping so they can do the roof for me. Funny how they don't answer to enquiry emails??? Gotta find out how to remove the side mirror covers so I can di-noc them myself to complete the black and yellow look. Then it's off to Tim's at dubaddiction for the eurojet downpipe and maybe eurojet intercooler? If all goes well and acccording to plan, my bumblebee should be ready for the DNA Tuning stage 2 ecu remap!!!

So the downpipe, is this the one directly off the Mk5? I'm curious if the same goes for the new vRS

Hi dru, yes that's correct. Still need to get it fitted so will let you know if its a direct fit. If it is, then I'd imagine it'll be the same for the tsi ones from the mk6.

I've carbon dinoc'd the chrome grill surround and looks great however the honeycomb grill insert required a heck of a lot of adjusting and cutting off of excess plastic and took bloody ages. Anyway, by the the time i removed the original grill off the car, I had lost clip, and several were already broken from the panel shop's removal and refitting post repainting of the front end. Another annoying find was there's already another big stone chip on the bonnet (Grrrr...not happy). Anyway, as I installed the new grill and grill insert back onto the car, I noticed there was a large gap between the grill surround and the bonnet. After much deliberation and mucking around, I rekon its the way the grill insert was made and that if it was designed with extra clips, then the gap would not be there. So for now, I've installed the dinoc'd grill surround with the new replacement factory grill insert as a temporary solution to keep thing neat while I wait for new clips to arrive and figure out how I go about improving the honeycomb grill assembly.

So far, i've been happy with superskoda and their parts up until now. The honeycomb grill insert wasn't the cheapest thing either and you expect a decent fit. If you look at it front on, then it looks fine however the moment you look at it standing from the the side of the car at the side mirrors, you'll notice a fair gap between the grill surround and the bonnet.

Ha Ha...I'll take pics once I sort out the honey comb grill. I've got the standard vertical slat grill on at the moment. Waiting for those darn fastening clips to come in rom Skoda sydney. Can't believe they don't even have fastening clips at dealers.

Ordering in through the dealer in my experience is pretty quick. I ordered a dash fascia panel that had to come from the homeland, they told me 2 weeks minimum but it only took 1.

Hoy hoy...spent the whole day at Tim's and got the Eurojet downpipe, intercooler and BSh tru seal intake kit with BSH heat shield installed in one fell swoop. Now for Stage 2+ remap with DNA!!!
BSH truseal intake kit is impressively loud even in cabin and glad I took off the Forge diverter spacer otherwise too much induction and BOV noise. Overall really happy with everything. Downpipe isnt loud and only just changes the outside tone with the added burble. Nice.
Big thanks to both Tim Josh for the help with install and Josh for install and modding the downpipe. Intercooler is definately a 2 man job at the minimum.

P.S> Tim's got some pics of the front intercooler installed and the front end half off on Dubaddiction's Facebook page.
