    They look like they're 18's!

I don't think I'm allowed to use those particular words on this forum... So lets suffice it to say that they look... Very good. :p

Those look awesome! The wheels turn out good as 19s, and are a good combo with the platin Octy wagon!!

That leaves the ones I originally suggested (BBS CH -looking) to be used on another platin grey Octy....

Noice very noice! Looks about the same ride height I have as we have the same springs! So enough with aesthetics time to giddy up the ponies!

Hey thanks all for your nice comments!

As you all know, I agonised for months trying to find wheels that would look good, and match the car etc...I didnt actually realise these were the Adidas wheels until someone poited it out. I really love the black chrome look, as I really love the Detroits. So this gives me the best of both worlds.

They are 19", running 225/35 high end Continental tyres. I went for the best tyres I could, and just put them on a 12mth payment plan so it didnt hurt too much.

I will get the Nanolex treaetment done soon to help protect them and keep them clean.

AND... I have warned all curbs within 200kms to stay well away and not jump out in front of my car...especially when my wife drives it...(which I am tipping will be...never now...!)

So does anyone know what VW actually call this style of wheel?

I know it is probably something like "yet another american city" of some sort...????

    The car looks good!

The wheels and springs are a nice improvement. Not exactly my taste since you've seen what I went for.
