Two things I've noticed when washing the car -
1. the top corners of the windows gather moisture.
2. you need to open all the doors to allow them to drain.

I would get rid of that stupid Skoda rubber pully handle thingy used to close the tailgatein the wagons and hatches!
What is wrong with good old fashioned handle parts in the inside mouldings?

Hmmm, had the car for 2 months now, and I have compiled a list of very small things.
1. Get rid of the useless red reflectors on the lower part of the rear bumper.
2. I'd like more control over the RNS-510 - specifically the ability to have it default to a chosen screen - i.e. the nav which i use constantly.
3. Same for the MFD - I want a default screen (speedo obviously) setting. I hate that when I input a new address for the nav (for me up to 8 times a day), tf doubles up the directions in the MFD and I have to manually get out of it.
4. Better water dispertion from the roof. I recently reversed with my drivers window open and when I came to a stop, I had what seemed like 1/2 a litre of water flood the door trim and window switches.
5. The ability to switch the fog lights on in auto mode.
6. Time again I would choose a manual over the DSG. I am quite dissapointed with the jerky take up(or accidental chirping), lazy auto mode and hyperactive Sport mode. and unless I'm completely commited on a windy road, the paddles are just harsh.

They're a legal thing. There aren't any reflectors in the taillight unit.
if you hit the car at night, then Skoda would be up for a lawsuit because the car wasn't able to be seen whilst parked at night.
Another legal thing.
In NSW and Victoria (not sure about other states) it is completely illegal to drive with your fog lights on, unless the weather conditions require them. (thick fog, heavy rain, etc - not just drizzle)
Ever driven past a VE Commodore at night, with its fogs on?
Blinding. aren't they.
The Golf/Octy units are very bright, aswell.
Don't be one of those guys.
Turn your fogs off when you don't need them.

No, I'm not one of those guys at all. I travel a lot to see family in country Victoria and I wish I had better control of the fogs. My thoughts were to have an additonal command in the Lighting section of the MFD to turn on the fogs with the low beams.
I can't say I have noticed that VE lights are particularly bright (but then again I tend to ignore Commonwhore drivers en mass) but I have bought more than 1 old Hyundai Excel driver up to speed on the fact that the rear bumper 'fog light' on their ****box is controlled from above the sterring column and it should be turned off never to be seen again.

The thing that really annoys me is that when you turn the button for the Climatronic it takes a while for it to pop-up on the screen, or the temperature stays put and doesn't change accordingly.

Our fog lights shine up as well as out. They're very dazzling to the oncoming cars. Watch the traffic coming towards you at night one day. A lot of the fog lights will be fine, but a fair few either won't be aimed properly, or will be designed to make you be seen as well as see.
So, like our LED DRL's, they'll be designed to appear very bright to vehicles coming the other way down a road in the fog/rain-spray/etc.
VE Commodores are the first and worst example I can think of for this, but also 4WD's with factory fog lights in the bull bars are another one.
If you want to turn your fogs on, just turn the dial and pull it out. Then push it in when there is oncoming traffic - so that you don't blind them.
And +1 on the Excel's.
Around here the worst ones for that are either the BMW's, Fiesta/Focus or the bloody posh mothers in their Grand Cherokee's.
With the Bi-Xenons blaring, and all the fogs on... Its like, yes, we can see you. Stop looking like an idiot.

i'm not finding any of those issues with my dsg......touchwood.
infact i quite prefer D(auto) over Sports or Manual modes. The take offs r good. the engine braking is helpful, making it a clean & smooth stop.
sports mode i never use cause its too much screaming.
manual mode i use with many roundabouts or twisty roads![]()
