on the otherhand if u had a liftback.............

i didn't realise the mfd on the wagon showed the pic of a liftback.
then again, i can see why they did it, cause u'll need a lot more mfd real-estate if u wanted to display a wagon with its boot open!

Only issue I can think of is that it is difficult to get the right delay between the presses on the key fob to open all the doors.

Here's a very minor annoyance that hasn't yet been mentioned:- in daylight that isn't bright sun, the numbers on the speedo and tacho dials are a bit hard to see although the needles are brilliantly visible because they're illuminated. I could of course switch on the parkers, but... as I said, minor annoyance.

A couple of people mentioned not having a flat load space. The liftback works just like the Corolla wagon it replaced - if you want a flat load space, you lift up the seat squabs and fold them up against the back of the front seats. You have to remove the two outer rear headrests and stash them on the floor. Unfortunately on mine, one of them doesn't want to be removed, must mention it at the first service.

I Would love them to offer THE HUGE PANORAMIC SUNROOF as in the Passat and Tiguan.

Having come from the Tigaun, the sunroof in the RS feels like a letter box slot!!!

Are you for real, I've seen the Superb sedan do that, but didn't know the Octy did it as well...must look into it further, although I have two car seats permanently embedded into the back seat.

I gotta say, I find this all a bit petty. You guys are lucky you can have a nice new car and should be a bit more grateful??

Some of you seem to just be looking for problems or "annoyances"?

The door handles don't match? Aw, bo hoo.

The seats are too flat?! Seriously, call the 'waah'mbulance!

    There's two categories:

    1. Things the factory could do better at no extra (or little extra, or extra that you'd be willing to pay for) build cost. Or perhaps where they've not long term tested for long enough, or chosen a lesser quality material.
This would be the seat fabric, wiper controls, floor level in wagon.

    2. Desired features - which may cost extra.
All the bits you'd like in the car, at least available as options.
    The rear wiper etc.

Beats me why they can't give BTO (Build To Order) customers the chance to have any option they want, rather than them (or Skoda Australia) decide what options are available. It couldn't be the 'because we have to stock parts for them all then' arguement because they obviously don't have much stock of even basic parts in Australia.

Request - maybe if everyone put what model they have in their signature we'd know what you mean when you say, 'my car has...'

The other thing, i would have prefered the cupholders to be a little higher, and also a little further forward. The current position can be a bit awkward if you are drinking 2 coffees one after the other.
The Ocy has automatic folding mirrors??
    Never knew that!
How you get that to work?

Only 118TSI/103TDI and Scout, and only with leather memory seats.

    EDIT: Believe me, I tried.
Loved them in my 2010 Kia. :/
