Squeal when reversing in Octavia RS 3

I have a 2014 MY15 RS manual done 25k. I have noticed on 2 mornings when I reverse out of my garage there is a high pitched squeal coming from the drivers side wheels most probably the rear wheels (I might be wrong will do check again). The clutch was softly engaged to reverse out and the brakes were not applied, the hand brake was off. Once driving nothing can be heard. I had windows down and it was fairly audible in garage squealed twice for .5 - 1.0 second each time.

This morning I drove back up into the garage and reversed again and the sound happened again. I tried to reproduce the sound in my carpal at work by reversing but nothing leading me to think it's an issue when cold but not sure why that would make difference.

Does anyone have clues on what it could be or other tests to exclude problems.

No - definitely not, was under cover and dry, wipers didn't move and the noise appears to be wheel area (brake, driveline, suspension). I thought it was because I had washed car the first time and brake disc sometimes make a noise after being left after wash but it has happened again.

Could be a stone trapped behind the brake stone shield and falling into the wrong place when reversing...

Is it loud or very faint? I have noticed a faint squeal occasionally when I leave the work car park at the end of The day. It seems to disappear briefly if you touch the brakes but it comes back (we have a very long car park and very attentive security to the trip takes a good couple of minutes at 10 km/h).

It's not loud but I heard it through the cabin, I assumed it was the garage door that rolling up. With windows down sounded more like brake squeal or mid frequency bearing noise - not loud, lasted for less than 1second at a time. You could even say it was a squeak.

I'll try to record it and post later. I'll keep an ear over the week see if it continues.

Nick do you know why yours makes the sound and can u describe it? Does it only do it when reversing or driving forward?
