Split Shipping: Superskoda (Melb)

Hey guys,

I'm keen to order this item from Superskoda and I'm looking for people to split shipping cost (currently EUR40 for one bumper)

Octavia III RS Combi - rear bumper protective panel BASIC BLACK - Martinek Auto : superskoda.com

I would prefer to do this with fellow Melbournians because I won't have the time to coordinate interstate shipping.

I've seen a only a group buy for the rear splitter but not one of these. Unless I'm missing something? Woofy, could you post the link for this group buy?

Correct - different company. However, the items look almost identical and are there to achieve the same purpose.

So the question is: do we all pitch in and organise one larger buy from the same place?

I agree that they are there to achieve the same purpose. But I'm not so sure that they look almost identical (see picture). Some have reviewed that the Rearguards has gotten torn when scratched, while the one from Superskoda is made with thicker ABS plastic and will very unlikely suffer the same damage.

But to each its own, just seeing if anyone here prefers the one from Superskoda and wants to split shipping with me. If not, I might just piggyback on the DTM splitter group buy and get my rear protective panel from there.

I must admit I didn't look too closely, and while I normally look at the reviews for everything I buy completely failed this time. Personally, I'm happy to hook into whatever anyone else is doing so that we can all benefit from splitting the costs. But I'm in Canberra and while we had a trip to Melbourne last week I think a special trip to pick up this up might be pushing it!
