    Skoda from VW dealers

I have seen two brand new Skodas recently (today actually) that both have number plate advertising and rear window stickers to indicate that they were purchased from VW dealers.
Are VW dealers selling Skoda on the side with no publicity or is something else going on? Neither car looked like a an ex demo, if they were they would of only had absolute minimal miles on them. One was a TDI Superb wagon and the other was a vRS Wagon. Both were from different Melbourne VW dealers.

I guess the VW dealers are more cashed up to buy used car stock or have the room to display it better than the Skoda dedicated dealers. The Skodas probably also look a bargain to anybody who can't quite afford the VW they are after.

They don't just LOOK like bargains, they ARE bargains. Was initially looking to buy a Passat with sunroof, GPS, etc, - until I saw the Superb elegance. Never looked back

EDIT: Just checked. At the bottom it says November 2009.
They're now about half-way through building a big "Skoda" building with signage where that old wooden fence is.

Mine has a Barlowworld number plate frame, was an ex-factory demo car I purchased from there.

The used car manager was actually banned from buying anymore stock by Skoda, as the Skoda dealers were pissed off with how much stock he was buying and selling off for good prices
