the springs are the same, its the weight of the spring that is different. I believe the wagon uses a harder spring than the sedan/hatch due to the additional weight it carries.
Just about to fit new a Eibach Pro kit lowering springs to my MY12 VRS Wagon and it seems I have been sent the springs for the hatch back! Oops. Don't know if there is a huge difference between the springs but no keen to find out after I have the car apart.

Yeah that seems to be the general feeling, I think the front springs are the same but the rears are different.

I use Eibach wagon springs in my sedan. Ride height & ride quality are perfect. I would have thought it would be a bit raised in the rear.
I can't see how they could make the sedan springs much softer & still claim them to be "sports".
Unfortunately. I'll be taking mine out soon & going back to OEM as my daughter will be sharing use of the car & the car needs to look as stock / unassuming as possible so that the local police don't pick on her (and to stop her stressing about going over speed humps, steep driveways, etc).

there might only be 0.5kg difference, but there will be a difference for a reason.
They dropped my car 40mm.
The coppers won't / don't annoy me as I'm middle-aged, clean cut, etc but a 17yr old girl that looks 14 on her P-Plates in a bright red car in the St.George area will get hassled no matter how sensibly she drives as we have a lot of spoiled d-heads in our area whose parents think that bringing up your child consists of throwing money at them & doing something else.
It's just risk minimisation & no burden to me.
edit: N))^#N - I still have my OEM springs stored in the loft

Just fitted my Eibach pro kit to my RS Wagon and I am a little disapointed in the drop. The front looks a little lower but the rear doesn't look any lower at all. I can stll fit three fingers between the tyre and the wheel arch.
I would have liked a bigger drop. Might look and a set of H&R springs in the near future.
Also fitted a new grill from and eyelids from Superskoda, no more chrome grill! Makes the car look much more aggresive.
