I think it would be "easier" to take a Scout or AWD Octavia & add a 2.0T to it.
Mechanically I reckon it would work, but the brains (ecu/canbus bizzo) might not be able to be convinced that the Haldex should be in the RS.

looking forward for those pics...
Hey,
If anyone is interested, i have an excel spreadsheet from the dealer listing all factory accessories for all Skoda models (Fabia, Superb etc), with part number, price and time to fit. (Australia only)
It may give you an idea on what you are up for if you want a dealer fitted part.
I don't have permission to attach it, but you can PM me and i can email it to you, otherwise if a moderator can find a good spot for it on the forum for all to access i can pass it on.
cheers
Sean
Finished my 3 days worth of project, today!
Fitting an amp and a sub to the Octy. Yay!
Tried clipping the LOC-IN wires to the speaker lines under the door sils, just ended up routing them to the back of the Columbus.
I am never removing that unit again... What a b*tch to put back in!!
And the finished project!!
I need to try and get some flush-mounting plugs so the sub is easily removed for when I actually want to use the boot.
I'm thinking one of these: 2 WAY PHENOLIC RCA Socket - Jaycar Electronics

why didn't u put the amp under the passenger/driver seat?
....then again, it does look too big to fit under there!
ur right about the columbus - its a b1tch to put it back in with the big a55 quad-lock connectors.

I was originally going to, and on the way out to buy some MDF board to screw the amp onto under the carpet, I decided to line it up to see how it would fit.
... It stuck out halfway. XD
Putting it in the boot also solved my problem of not having the right drive bits to take the seat out.
The line out converter is mounted in the right hand storage box, too.
All in all, a rather neat job for a first go.

Gawd. If I had to put something like that in (and it would be at gunpoint) I'd be trying to put it in the cubby holes at the rear side corners. Maybe two smaller ones instead of one big cumbersome one? Way to much of a reduction of useable space for my liking. I like to be able to hear and plan on keeping it when I'm an older duffer.
