I know they have done up the design of the upcoming Octy and the Superb, I'm betting they will look a lot like this, interesting how they are going back to the sharper angled lights again.....

Looks great. Skoda's current head of design is Jozef Kaban who designed the Bugatti Veyron. Need I say more.

Also liking this quote from the SMH article:

To be honest I like the MissionL. Its conservative (at best) styling will win it many friends in its intended markets (China, Russia, India, etc) and the front 3/4 view looks good too! But it really looks like the stupid, awful, boring, yucky, sleep-inducing new Jetta (I know Octavias don't set your heart on fire but did VW really have to completely copy the Audi A4?). I really hope they up the ante on the style and emotional fronts for the hatchback version for the rest of the world because this preview for the car that's supposedly going to double their profits is bleak...

Skoda needs an MPV that isn't the Roomster (do a version of the Sharan/Albraham, already very-well done cars, and add some Czech practicality to it), particularly in Europe. A bigger Yeti - a Captiva-style 7-seat medium SUV and a Touareg-based SUV versions wouldn't be too bad! More performance models - RS' go HARD and a Superb that went similarly hard would be great as there is a big market for sports saloons worldwide. I know the VW Up!-based car's on its way and that's a good move too. An Amarok-based ute, especially as Skoda is the 'practical VW'? And don't get me started on Skoda Australia...
