Servicing in Sydney

Hi all

I'm coming up to the 105,000km service in my '09 118TSI.

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for where to get the service done?

I've moved to Parramatta recently so around there would be good (or the Kingsgrove/Hurstville area would be good too).

I know there's a Trivett Skoda service centre in Parramatta but was hoping to try somewhere else that does good work with Octavias.

Also I'm guessing this will come to around the $1200-1500 mark? On the phone getting a quote from Trivett now.

Take the day off, go for a drive to Kiama. Leave your car with Canberra VW (in Kiama) enjoy a day on the south Coast, blow hole plenty of café and resturants , etc. and get great service.

So it's only a minor service.

Or euromotive in Giraween.

It's only a minor service - most of it should have been done either at the 60 or the 90 120 might be a fraction more too.

Great, thanks folks - will check these 2 places out. Since this is a minor service it may not be as critical - but it'd help to find a good, honest and reliable place for ongoing maintenance.

Sounds like what i paid for the 15,000.

Ask John if any other items need to be done at that service i.e. fluids so you don't get a call half way through the day saying you need X and Y.

Also check your manual to see if anything needs to be done at that particular interval (does the Skoda service manual show this). At least you are armed with info.
