Servicing costs - FYI for Melburnians

    Hi Folks,

As an FYI I had some work done at Richmond recently. They now quote $189 per hour labour rate.

I'll let you draw your own conclusions on whether that is reasonable or not.

I'm still to ring them up about the upcoming service in Nov, but at one stage they were the cheapest, I think its more that we are paying for Bayford shutting down and Richmond getting lots of servicing $$$ moreso than Zagames taking over. The thing is that they are not equipped or able to deal with the influx of cars, the dedicated space for the SKoda servicing is still a used car lot, everything goes into that crammed Audi service area.
