I though they were both the same Brad? Eibach website lists the same part number for petrol and diesel and the same load 1100 and 1150.

Fair enough. As you say in your ad - check part number to ensure it suits application

When I got my Eibachs the guy was selling them as vRS diesel wagon springs & of course every man & his dog was "wish they were petrol. I'd buy 'em", "wish they were hatch. I'd buy 'em"

Me being me, I fitted them to my non-vRS petrol, hatch & they work great. I particularly like that if you go into a corner really hot - like 8/10ths, trail braking - the back end will subtly slide out a bit & help you around the corner.

Just curious as to why you have 2 sets of new springs and why you're keen to sell them?

I actually bought 3 sets, 1 for my car and 2 to sell, the price was good so bought the extra sets to offset the cost of buying my springs.

I'll take a set of those if they are still available when money frees up in the next month or so.

So Im taking the Eibach pro kit from 240z tomorrow morning.

If my stock shocks were to give out in the next year (already at 105k), how much would a good value set cost? Like not the worst stuff, but not expensive.

Also, does anyone have a good write-up WITH PICS on the installation? Going to tackle it next Saturday along with some front DBA T2 rotors and Remsa pads all at once

I have Koni Yellows - they were about $800ish from ECS tuning.

Sachs aren't bad for a std damper. - one of the other guys got them recently
Bilstein B4 will be $550ish for a set
    Bilstein B6 about $700

For a write up, have a search for Golf MkV/VI damper replacement - plenty of how-to with photos

So looks like im getting the last set from Mark

Im also going to get the whiteline rear sway bar and some torque arm inserts from dubadiction...

Can anyone recommend anything else suspension wise/under the car to get and install at the same time that will help the ride...?? Dont think I can fork out to much money so add-ons will have to be reasonably affordable...

    Look forward to your help..
