No...Mine still has the worst axle tramp under very heavy take off!

I wouldn't call it the *worst*... The diesel engine is heavier than the petrol, but it is pretty bad.

You need to get a whole front end suspension makeover! Pronto!

They are primarily for looks, they will reduce roll somewhat and give a more sporty ride
When pushed hard on less than favourable roads you may hit the bump stops - this is highly undesirable (and can be dangerous)
(Our standard shocks are nothing to write home about - I love the control of my Bilstiens)

These springs won't make any difference to axel tramp
You either need a firmer dog bone mount or the Supaloy control arms
The dog bone mount has terrible/negative consequences (loud and low frequency cabin reverberation) at idle, in stop/start traffice and when reversing - I went back to stock!
The Supaloy control arms are a tad expensive but solve axel tramp, provide better straight line stability and more negative camber which increases corning road holding - given the benefits these are good value for money in my opinion

Good luck on getting this message through (plus the jouncy, floaty experience on bumpy roads) - I've tried on multiple occassions.

do the whiteline kits do all that too?

I get axle tramp and it pops open the dash hidey-hole which is really distracting. also the actual tramping is bad too

ok checked out their site. they look great! martin, which ones do you have?

From all reports, the WALK will have a similar effect to the Supaloy control arms since they both reduce the stiffness (increase compliance) of the front suspension to dive/lift so the suspension doesn't bind up from the geometry in these circumstances.

Martin got the full arm which includes the rear bracket.

BTW: Martin - half an insert is pretty good. I think if they were a lower duro they'd be pretty good all round

    Thanks Martin.

I am looking at getting the Eibach springs and the supaloy control arms so hopefully that improves the look and feel (axle tramping) of the car, particularly if I also decide to go for an ECU upgrade.
