Lowering springs alone are good for posing and cornering on very smooth roads. You need DAMPERS that are matched to them for improved control (stock ones may work sort of OK for a while but the higher spring rate WILL kill them much more quickly than they would last with the OE springs).

It is not the spring alone that affects the ride. Important to remember that the spring needs to be matched to the shock. I'm using the Eibach pro (springs and shock kit bought from Eibach Australia). Lower, good handling and supple ride.

I have the VWR springs, and they make a difference in cornering, but undulating country roads now feel horribly floaty and scary, when they used to be able to be taken with confidence... But new shocks will *probably* solve that.
