Back when Vortex diesel came out I switched from BP diesel. I cannot remember now if the fuel economy was any better on Vortex diesel, but the car was more responsive on Vortex diesel than BP diesel. I suggest you give it a try.

I'm regularly getting 7.5L to 8L/100km out of our DSG TSi RS in Sydney.

Driving is on the M5 which can't really be considered freeway driving

Last tank gave me 690km out of 54L.

I'm getting 7.5L/100km on my TSI RS, and I drive quite enthusiastically. My old 06 TFSI Jetta averaged about 8.5L/100km on the same journey, so they definetly tweaked something over the years. Still think it's awesome, as 1,6l Swift averages 8L per hundred, and I use 7-eleven RON98 for both cars, as BP in Mitcham shuts at 11pm
